So sorry for your loss. I remember Steve fondly and can see his smiling face. I hope you all can carry your loving memories of him in your heart as you mourn for a life to short. Sending love and prayers your way.

So sorry for your loss, Steve was great person,and always fun to be around. One of the best times was when I took him and our friend John Street to Denver to see James. We had a blast...always loved it when James would tease him about being a Bears fan...coming from Cowboys fans, he would chuckle about it. Sorry I can't be with you both today,but contact me and we will get caught up on the old days.

I knew Steve at Rosewood Care Center in E.Peoria.  He was one of the most gentle, compassionate, loving, devoted, patient, and intelligent nurse I have ever worked with.  The resident's (guests) faces would glow and a smile would come upon their face when their favorite nurse would enter the room.  He was knowledgeable in his field and would share it with others. As a friend, he was one of the best.  One of the most cherished moments in his life was when his granddaughter Maralyn would come to see him at work.  Steve was a gift from God and I am happy to have the opportunity to get to know him.  He will be greatly missed by all.  I will definately keep you all in my prayers as you all walk this mile.

I light this candle for you and your brother Ernest Alvin Vickers I am sure he is waiting for you.God needed another angel,love you Steve and will miss you.
