She was born Nov. 23, 1931 in Peoria to John and Helen (Clark) Arrowsmith. She married William C. Schmidt. He preceded her in death in 1995. She later married Reginald D. Booher on Sept. 14, 1996. He survives.
Also surviving are four children, Edward Schmidt, Renae Trau, Luanne (David) Koch, Vickie (Dan) Mayes; four step children, Doug (Audrey) Booher, Joan (Gary) Biggs, Jan (Kevin) Coulter, Laura Booher; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded by her parents; and one brother, Harold.
Wanda lived in Texas for several years and volunteered at Rio Grande Regional Hospital for 10 years. She loved to cook and spend time with her family.
Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6, 2010 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria.
