William "Bill" Bomhold

Bill was a veteran and was born in Peoria to Harry and Mary (Stanley) Bomhold on October 10, 1956. Bill was an avid bingo player and loved his scratch off lottery tickets. He was preceded in death by his mother; grandparents; 3 brothers and 1 sister.

Bill is survived by his partner in life, Sue Jones-Bomhold; his father; 2 daughters, Ellen (Terry) Brooks-Bomhold and Bobbie Jo Bomhold; 3 grandchildren by Ellen, Benjamin Williams, EvaJean Williams and Damion Stewart; 5 brothers, Carl Maple of FL, Sam Bomhold of Peoria, Jim (Rita) Bomhold of Bartonville, Floyd (Julie) Bomhold of Pekin, John “Joe” (Kim) Bomhold of East Peoria; 1 sister, Maggie (Tom) Elmore of Peoria; nephew, Jeff (Shannon) Elmore of Peoria who was always with him; lots of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many cousins. He will be greatly missed by all.

Funeral Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, March 2, 2012 at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria will Rev. Jeremy Davis officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a memorial for William Bomhold at Heritage Bank located at 3100 W. Harmon Highway in Peoria to help with expenses.
