William Henry Harrison

He was born May 17, 1940 in Peoria to Stanley and Dorothy (Schoch) Harrison. He married Barbara Carr on July 9, 1977 in Creve Coeur. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Judy Miner and brother Larry Harrison.

Surviving are his wife Barabara and their daughter Tina Harrison both of East Peoria, two brothers Randy Harrison of East Peoria and Tim (Vicki) Harrison of Roseville, GA, four sisters Gloria (George) Schneider of Dixon, IL; Carol Parrish of Peoria; Bonnie Isaacs of East Peoria and Nancy (Jim) Hester of Pekin and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

William worked for Caterpillar Inc. for 31 years before retiring in 1990 and was a member of the UAW Local 974. He enjoyed spending time with his family, nieces, nephews and fishing and baseball games with Landyn. William loved all of his nieces and nephews dearly.

A funeral service will be Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at 2:00 pm with visitation one hour prior to the service at Remmert Funeral Home in East Peoria. Burial will follow the service at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
