William was born on October 8, 1940 in Peoria the son of William & Viola Anderson Holderness. He married Judith Ann Houlihan on March 3, 1963 in Peoria. She survives.
Also surviving are his sons, William Charles III, Christopher (Gina)both ofSunnyland, and James (Gable) of Green Bay, WI; seven grandsons; one sister Carmen (David) Moore; his step-mother Ruby Holderness of Elmwood.
William was preceded in death by his mother and father.
He was a Lithographic Film Stripper at C & H Printing until his retirement.
William was a member of the Hilton Lodge in East Peoria, and the Giant Goose Ranch in Canton, Il.
Cremation rites will be accorded.
Burial of ashes will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday December 19, 2012 at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
