Evelyn A. Collins

Evelyn A. Collins, age 92, of College Park, GA, passed away November 8, 2013. She was a Public Stenographer at Fulton County Courthouse for 31 years. Mrs. Collins had 30 years of service at St. John's Episcopal Church bargain shop. She was a native of Atlanta and grew up in East Point, and was a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 50 in College Park. Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Dan G. Collins. Survivors include her son, Dan (Mary) Collins; grandchildren, Matt (Alisha) Collins, Lori (Dustin) Pullen, Candice (Tony) Horton; 4 great-grandchildren, Hutch and Shepherd Collins, Ryland and Reid Pullen; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at 11:00 am at College Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 5:00 pm-8:00 pm at the Historic Carmichael-Hemperley Funeral Home, 2968 East Point Street, East Point, GA 30344.
