She was preceded in death by her father, Lewis Koonce, surviving are husband, Ken Sharpton, son, Charles and Debra Sharpton, daughter, Heather and Steve Jacobs, grandson, Joshua Jacobs, mother, Jeanette Koonce, sisters, Gail Grady, Dallas, TX, Cindy McNeil, McDonough, brothers, Jerry Koonce, Forest Park, Rodney Koonce, Atlanta. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 11:00am at Carmichael-Hemperley East Point, GA. The family will receive friends Thursday and Friday from 4-9pm at the funeral home. Interment Fairview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society .
