Anna Faye Brown Coleman passed into her heavenly home on Saturday morning, April 24,2010. Anna Faye was the daughter of Harry Bernard and Faye Fricks Brown of Macon, Georgia. She was a faithful member of St. Elmo United Methodist Church for more than 60 years, and most recently a member of Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a lifetime caregiver to many and always gave her time freely to those in need. Anna Faye Coleman was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, D. D. (Dee) Coleman; survived by one brother, William (Betty) Brown of Atlanta, Georgia; two sons, Dan (Janice) Coleman and Ron (Carla) Coleman, both of Ooltewah; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Jim) Perry of Ooltewah, Valorie (DJ) Bowers and Geoffrey Coleman, both of East Brainerd, and two great- grandchildren, Isabel and Jake Perry. Anna Faye's family would like to thank Lifecare of Collegedale and Avalon Hospice for their excellent care in her final days. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 AM Tuesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with the Rev. Curt McKee officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Monday and from 10:30 – 11:30 Tuesday at the funeral home.
