Mrs. Stacey was born and raised in Wakefield, KS where she was a high school graduate and worked as a school teacher. She later moved to Chattanooga where she was previously employed at Loveman’s Department Store, Pioneer Bank and later Hamrick’s. She was also a member of the Red Hats Society and the Scenic City Sams Camping Club.
Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Don Stacey; children, Doug (Diana) Stacey of Palm Springs, CA, Pam (Ken) Clouse of East Ridge, TN, and Dan (Sandra) Stacey of East Ridge, TN; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Friday and 12 Noon to 1 PM on Saturday at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will be at 1 PM on Saturday, September 27, 2014, at the funeral home with Rev. Wayland Stewart officiating.
Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Hixson, TN.
