Mrs. Henry was born in Dallas County, Alabama to Allen and Eleanor Young. She was a long standing member of Northside Presbyterian Church.
She retired from Chattanooga Public Schools as a secretary at Sunnyside Elementary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Dunlap Henry; sons, George, John and James Henry; grandson, Corey Heath Henry; and siblings, Mary Young Cheek and Jennie Young Pace.
Surviving are her grandsons, Joseph Henry and John Dallas (Darla) Henry; great-grandchildren; and nephew, William (Dee) Pace.
Visitation will be from 10 AM to 12 Noon on Saturday, February 2, 2013 with a 12 PM Funeral Service at the funeral home.
Graveside Services will follow at 2:30 PM CST Saturday at Edgemont Cemetery in Anniston, Alabama.
