Charles Lindsey Snyder, 73, of East Ridge passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019. He was a member of South Seminole Baptist Church and was retired from the East Ridge Police Department after over 20 years of service. Charles was active in East Ridge Politics and had served in the National Guard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James V. and Lula Bell Snyder and a brother, James Snyder.
Survivors include his wife, Liz Snyder; children, Lisa (Charlie) Goss; Todd Shepherd and Bill Shepherd; grandchildren, Seth Wilson (Stephanie Murphy), Emily Wilson Addison (Tyler), Gabriel Shepherd and Kylie Shepherd; brother, Paul Snyder; sisters, Delores Ellis and Peggy Liebe; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with the Rev. Drew Tankersley officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Tuesday and from 1-2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
