David Ronald Smith, 57, of Chattanooga died Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at his home. He was born December 9, 1955 in Chattanooga. He was a member of the Brainerd Baptist Church and Celebrate Recovery. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his wife Janis Smith.
Survivors include his son Christopher David (Kim) Smith; granddaughter Kaleigh Smith all of Colorado Springs, Colorado; daughter Hillary West of Chattanooga; parents Marvin and Peggy Smith; brothers Mike (Gennie) Smith of Clarksville, Mark Smith of Chickamauga and Joey (Karen) Smith of East Ridge; sister Jennie (Tim) Smith Anderson; best friend Tiffany Coker; several nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Monday, July 22 at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 5-9 and Sunday from 2-9.
