Dorothy Oliver

Dorothy Norma Oliver, 92, of Chattanooga, passed away, January 10, 2013 in Cleveland, TN. She is preceded in death by her husband, George Oliver; sisters, Stevie Martin, Jo Sloan, Mable Moore, Lillian Vandergriff, Julia Gibson; and grandson, Matthew Oliver.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Frank and Brinda Bromley, of Cleveland, TN, and son and daughter-in-law, Mickey and Sue Ann Oliver, of Loganville, GA; four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Margie Morrell, of San Antonio, TX; as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was retired from Sears after 30 plus years of service. She taught Sunday School and was active in choir and visitation ministry of her church for many years. She was currently attending First Baptist Church of Cleveland, TN.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday January 12 at 4pm following visitation from 2pm-4pm at the Chattanooga Funeral Home East Chapel; her son, Rev. Mickey Oliver, and her grandson, Rev. Michael Liner, officiating. Burial will be Monday January 14th at the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
