He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Martin Lehman and Flora Williams Lehman; brother, Hal Lehman; sister-in-law, June Lehman; and brother-in-law, Marshall Wilkes.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Edna Scharlemann Lehman; 2 children, Paulette (Charles) Tindell of Chattanooga and Edwin Lehman Jr. (Cheryl) of Louisville, TN; Grandchildren, Trey Tindell of Chattanooga, Brandon Tindell (Rachel) of Birmingham, AL., Chris Lehman (Laura) of Knoxville, Amy Lehman of Atlanta, GA., Katie Lehman of Seattle, WA., and Kelly Lehman of Louisville, TN.; Great grandson, Jackson Lehman of Knoxville; and sister, Mildred Wilkes of Houston, TX.
Mr. Lehman was a devout Christian and life-long member of First Lutheran Church in Chattanooga. He had also previously owned and operated a local furniture company and was a US Navy veteran of WWII.
Visitation will be from 1 to 3 PM on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at the funeral home. Funeral Services will follow at 3 PM at the funeral home.
Private burial services will be at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
