Erskine H. Mullins, 86, of Chattanooga passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011 in a local hospital. He was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church and the Senior Men’s Sunday School Class. He was retired from Vandsco Poster Company. Mr. Mullins was a WWII Veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Ruth Mullins; parents, Charles and Stella Mullins; brother, W. C. Mullins; sister, J Lou Rawlings.
Survivors include two sons, Donnie H. (Margaret) Mullins, Sr. and Terry L. (Donna) Mullins; grandchildren, Anna Marie (Shane) Blaylock, Bryan (Elizabeth) Mullins, Donnie (Angie) Mullins, Jr., Taylor (Kristen) Mullins and Lauren (Cecil) Harvey; great-grandchildren, Zane Blaylock, Cameron Mullins, Mary Larkin Mullins, Cooper Mullins, Grey Mullins, Ty Harvey and Jackson Mullins; two brothers, Edward Mullins and T.S. Mullins; one sister, Katherine McQueen; several nieces and nephews
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM Monday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Home, 404 South Moore Road with the Rev. Tony Walliser and the Rev. Millard Hooper, Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-8 PM Sunday and 12 – 1:30 PM Monday at the funeral home.
