Etta Williams age 92 of Signal Mountain died Wednesday October 13, 2010.
Mrs. Williams was born January 19, 1918, in Farmington, Tennessee, the daughter of the late John Hershel and Anne (Hurt) Culbertson. She was preceded in death by her first husband John Howell Kennedy, husband Godwin Williams Jr. daughter Margot L Milosavljevic, brothers William Hunter Culbertson and John Hurt Culbertson.
Mrs. Williams received her B.A. degree from Maryville College and her Masters from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. She was a member of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church.
She is survived by a daughter Evelyn Kennedy Tharpe of Signal Mountain
Funeral services will be held Saturday October 16, 2010 at 11:00 am from St Timothy’s Episcopal Church with Reverend George Choyee officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10:00 til the funeral hour.
