

Gladys Alicia Leffew, 84, of Chattanooga, passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a woman of strength, tenderness, beauty and love. She enjoyed serving others and touched the lives of all with whom she came in contact. She was a devout Christian and longtime member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church.
She is survived by three sons, Bob (Sandy) Leffew, Roy (Leisa) Leffew and Ronnie Leffew; four granddaughters, Michelle Leffew (Anthony) Paolucci, Candace Leffew, Kristin Leffew and Amy Leffew (Gavin) Cox; three great-grandchildren, A.J. Paolucci, Braden Paolucci and Madeline Austin; and one brother, Berti Cazabon. She was preceded in death by her parents Jose Urrutia, Dr. Felipe and Emelia Cazabon and a great-grandson, Christian Leffew.
A memorial mass will be held at 11 AM Thursday, October 10, 2013 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church with Reverend Jim Vick officiating. The family will receive friends from 10 – 11 AM Thursday, October 10, 2013 in the Holy Family Hall at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery.
