Helen Wilkes Baysden, 93, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 at Hospice of Chattanooga Care Center. She graduated from Central High School in 1944. Helen had worked at the H.L. Judd Company, Mills and Lupton and the St. Emo Branch of American National Bank. She was a member of Lookout Valley Presbyterian Church EPC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Eugene Wilkes and Georgia Jarvis Wilkes Perry, her husband of 35 years, John Raymond Baysden and her brother, Albert Jarvis Wilkes.
Survivors include her daughter, Cynthia Baysden Crabtree (Junior Crabtree) and her sister, Ruth Ann Wilkes White.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Tuesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road with the Rev. Grady Davidson officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM Monday and from 12 – 1PM Tuesday at the Funeral Home.
