

Jadena Head Myatt, 74, of Chattanooga passed away Friday, August 27, 2010 in a local hospital. She was a member of St. Elmo United Methodist Church, the Bradford Sunday School Class, United Methodist Women, the Choir and Secretary of the Administrative Council. Mrs. Myatt was a graduate of Central High School class of 1954 and retired from Woodmore Elementary School in 1990.
She was preceded in death by her parents, R.J. and Jessie Varner Head.
Survivors include her husband, James K. Myatt; two sons, Brian (Kristi) Myatt of Chattanooga and Bruce (Pam) Myatt of Huntsville, AL; two daughters, Becky Myatt of Chattanooga and Beth (Stacey) James of North Attleboro, Mass.; eight grandchildren, Brianne, Keith, Danna, Julianna, Brent, David, Jonathan and Kylie; one sister, Louise Daugherty of Chattanooga; one brother, Thomas (Nancy) Head of Fort Oglethorpe, GA; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 12 PM Tuesday at St. Elmo United Methodist Church (Meeting at Lookout Mountain United Methodist Church 1300 Lula Lake Road, Lookout Mountain) with the Rev. Mark Dowell and the Rev. Randy Martin officiating. Burial will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Monday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
