Jamie was born in Clarksburg, WV. on June 30, 1953 to the late, James and Betty Messenger. She graduated from West Rome H.S. in Rome, Ga. Jamie worked for many years at Mohawk Industries. Jamie enjoyed playing games and writing, but she received the most joy from her family with whom she loved with all her heart.
She was preceded in death by her aforementioned parents and several siblings.
Left behind to cherish Jamie’s memory are her son and his wife, Dean and Cherena Dutt, grandchildren, Miguel (Dazie) Watts; Cherity Kirby; Rundee (Lamokenge) Kirby and Princess Kirby, great-grandchildren, Levi Sanchez; and T.J and Angel Kirby., sister-in-law, Brenda Jeanette Jones, step-niece, Misty Eaves, and many dear friends.
A Memorial Service celebrating Jamie’s life will be held privately by the family per her wishes.
