Joyce was a native of Alabama who lived most of her life in the Chattanooga area. She was a Christian women and enjoyed reading and her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Cauthen.
Surviving are her children, LeAnn Cauthen, Jane (Mike) Hughey, Beth (Mike) Rawlston, Hal (Lynn) Cauthen and Beverly (Stacy) Payne; 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, with twins expected soon.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 PM on Thursday, April 7th at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be at 2 PM on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Chattanooga National Cemetery officiating.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory, and Florist. 404 South Moore Road.
