Joyce enjoyed camping, walking, the outdoors and people. She was of the Christian faith and had worked for Red Food / Bi-Lo in Fort Oglethorpe. She was a graduate of Central High School class of 1964.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, Arnold and Mary Martin.
Survivors include her husband, David Pell; son Doug (Alicia) Pell; three sisters, Darlene (Sonny) Hardin, Sharon (Larry) Pell and Jo Ann (Troy) Middlebrooks; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Thursday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 AM Friday at Lakewood Memory Gardens, South.
