Larry was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked for and retired from Delta Airlines where he primarily worked in freight and logistics.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John C. and Geneva Anderson.
He is survived by his wife Gayla, his sons, Jeff (Joanna) Anderson and Mike (Angela) Anderson, daughter, Jenny (David) Huskey, step-son, Chris Dempsey, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, many cousins and dear friends.
A Celebration of Larry’s life will be held graveside in the Chattanooga National Cemetery on Thursday January 13, 2022 at 12:30 pm with Pastor Wayland Stewart officiating. The family will receive friends at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Wednesday January 12, 2022 from 2-6pm. Military honors will be furnished by the United States Air Force Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Larry’s memory to Hearth Hospice.
