Lily Mae Donaldson

Mrs. Donaldson was born in Bessemer, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. Reece Donaldson. The Office Manager of her husband’s accounting firm, J. Reece Donaldson and Associates, a member of Brainerd Baptist Church for over 60 years and actively involved in many church activities. Lily Mae was a loving and caring person who enjoyed her family and friends.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Zelnak and husband Steve of Raleigh, NC; her grandchildren: Brent and wife Amelia Zelnak and their children Lauren, William and Catherine of Atlanta, Georgia, Natalie Swecker and husband Matt and their children Elijah, Hannah, Zak and Lilia of Raliegh, NC, and Kurt Zelnak of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by her son Jim Donaldson and niece Michelle Manuel and husband Billy of Atlanta, Georgia, and nephews John Miljanich, David Miljanich and Russell Byrd.

The family would like to thank her Care Givers with Home Comforts, Barbara Bates, Linda Dilly and Betty Shrum and Hospice of Chattanooga.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM on Thursday, September 2, 2010 at the funeral home.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Drive, Chattanooga, TN 37416.
