Mable Gladys Cannon, 85, of Chattanooga died Sunday, December 15, 2013. She was born August 17, 1928 in Rome, Georgia, to Claude Mathis and Bessie Worthington Mathis. She was preceded in death by her husband James Doyle Cannon.
Survivors include her children Judy (David) Blouin of Baton Rouge, LA and Bobby (Patsy) Cannon of Rossville, GA.; sister Betty Smith; grandchildren Jimmy (Kelli) Turner, Scott (Tammy) Turner, Sherri Giuliani and Shanda (Richy) Basson and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, December 20 in the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Denny Manning officiating. Interment will follow in the Lakewood Memory Gardens South.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-9 Thursday.
