Margaret Daniel Weddle

Margaret Daniel Weddle, 88, formerly of Jasper, Alabama passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2017 at a Chattanooga healthcare facility. She had made her home in Chattanooga for the past year with her son, Steve Weddle. She was a graduate of Walker High School in Jasper and later became a librarian at Jasper Public Library where she worked for several years. Margaret was a member of Union Chapel United Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Stella Scheile Daniel; husband, Hershel “Huss” Weddle and one brother, Garvie Daniel. She is survived by her son, Steve (Pat) Weddle of Signal Mountain, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Meghan (Tim) Campagna and their daughter, Olivia Campagna all of Tampa, Florida and Kacey Weddle of Birmingham, Alabama; three brothers, Elbert Daniel of Jasper, Alabama, Julian Daniel and Francis Daniel both of Chattanooga, Tennessee; several nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 prior to the service from 2 pm to 3pm at the church. A funeral service will be held Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 3 pm with Rev. Joel Daniel officiating at Union Chapel United Methodist Church in Jasper, Alabama. Interment is to follow at Union Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga, 4411 Oakwood Dr, Chattanooga, TN 37416.
