She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil O. Wamack, parents, Jesse and Ova Truex, brother, William L. Truex, and a son-in-law, Chester Shuman.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her children, Norman (Mabel) Wamack, Ooltewah, TN., Michael (Joyce) Wamack, Knoxville, TN., and Brenda Shuman, Concord, NC., 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
A Celebration of Nancy’s Life will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday July 3, 2017 at 12:00 p.m. with friends being received one hour prior to service at 11:00 a.m. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family requests no flowers be sent.
