Roy was a 1975 graduate of Howard High School where he played basketball. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University and was a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity.
He was a member of Tucker Baptist Church.
His mother, Louise Robinson preceded him in death.
Survivors include his sister, Alisa Belcher and brother, Maurice Robinson both of Chattanooga; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, and other family members.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 27, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Greater Tucker Baptist Church with Pastor Gary Hathaway officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
