Mrs. Ruth Baker Hogan Pass

She was the daughter of the late Robert Franklin and Mary Lena Scott Baker. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Hudson L. Hogan and Elbert H. Pass, sisters Edith Baker Campbell, Stella Baker Miller, brother Edward Franklin Baker, and dear friend James Brown.

She was a graduate of Central High School class of 1939, and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene for 84 years, serving the Lord as Sunday School Teacher, Singing in the Choir, Missions President, N.Y. P.S. and in Mary Other Ministries. She was Secretary and Bookkeeper at Quinco Kitchens for 25 years and Treasurer of East Tennessee District Church of the Nazarene for 25 years.

Survivors include the daughter La Jan Hogan and friend Ray Wallace two grandchildren Kelly J. Tacy and Aaron P. Daniel, four great grandchildren Natalie and Brittany Tacy and Naomi and Hudson Daniel, sister Viola Baker Quinn and brother in law Cecil Quinn and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday October 28 at 1pm from the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Reverend Richard P. Reed, Reverend Ronald K. McCormack and Reverned Eric V. Johnson officiating. Interment will follow in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4 till 8 Wednesday evening.
