Stewart Blaine Johnson

Stewart Blaine Johnson, 50, of East Ridge, TN, went home to be with the Lord Friday, August 5, 2011 at his residence. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, he attended Silverdale Baptist Church and was also employed with the Brainerd Golf & Country Club. He was an accomplished auto paint and body artist. He was preceded in death by his sister, Vicky Lynn Johnson; two infant daughters, Jordan and Jillian Johnson; grandparents, Edith Duckett, John Felton and Lennie Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Lori Johnson; son, Rev. Jeremy (Tiffany) Johnson, Orlando, FL; daughter, Abby Johnson and fiancé, Jonathan Viar, East Ridge; mother and father, Franklin and Norma Johnson, Chattanooga; two grandchildren, Jada and Skyler Johnson; mother and father-in-law, Melvin and Peggy Derryberry, Ringgold, GA; brothers and sister-in-laws, Kevin and Melody Skelly, Hermitage, TN and Rick and Tonya Derryberry, Ringgold, GA; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. John Andrus and the Rev. Jeremy Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood Memory Gardens South. In lieu of flowers, the family ask memorial contributions be made to the Element Church, 4150 Cummings Street, Orlando, FL 32828. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Monday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 404 S. Moore Road.
