    My brother married a wonderfull woman, mother, and most importantly, a great friend to me. Your kind soul and gentle touch raising Maryann and her brother's lives on today through Maryann's warm vibe and huge smile. Rest in piece my friend knowing u couldnt have done a better job with the time u spent here on earth raising your family and exstending open arms to mine. We love u

Pappy~ Over the last 6 months I was given the chance to get to know you as a person and not just as Pap. You told me stories and we watched cooking shows together and talked food! That is something I definitely got from you is the love to cook. I am going to miss cooking for you and trying new recipes and even making milkshakes. You also helped me to realize how strong I am as a person from our talks. I am going to miss your big warm hugs and the way you would make me smile and laugh when I was having a rough day. I was there to take care of you but somehow you managed to still take care of me. You are truly the best grandfather a girl could ask for. I will miss you everyday! Stop in and visit us whenever you want. (Miles will let me know) I love you!

ed ,you were my best friend.i was honored to know you for 18 years.we worked all week and when friday night came we sat and had a beer.we both looked forward to it.i will miss that but most of all i will miss you.i will never forget you .thats for the memories.

Maryann, Bob & Family, Ed will always be remembered as a terrific guy who had a way of helping everyone relax and feel welcomed while in his presence. Another gift is that he had a sense of humor that brought much laughter to all. I do not recall anyone who had more courage especially with all the health concerns he was going through. His legacy does indeed exist and is intact as evidenced by his loving family. Everyone on our staff were privileged to have known Ed and will sincerely miss him.

Well Ed you did a good job on this earth. You were a man of few words, but alot of personality :) I hope you rest in peace! I know that your family will miss you very much, so keep a look out on them. Maryann and Bob I am so glad you had those last month with Ed I know you will treasure those memories. I only met you once, but you were very interesting to talk to...You raised a great daughter in Mary Ann...and she in turn has raised 3 great kids. I know you will be missed, but I'm glad you are not in pain anymore.

Sending my deepest sympathies to you all.  I only had a short time to know Ed but he definitely left a lasting impact.  He was such a loveable guy, kinda like a big giant teddy bear.  He could certainly make you laugh without saying a word!  All he had to do was give you one of those looks of his!  The world lost a little of it's sparkle on 10/11/10.

Dad you will be miss so dearly.  The last 6 months was some of the hardest weeks and days of my life. We were able to talk, laugh and cry together. We both like to laugh and tell jokes even pull jokes on others but all in fun .I'll even take the crabby days you had and the potty words we could of done without but I understand. I hope you come to visit me in my dreams. I will look in the sky every day and be happy for the freedom you now have but I wish you were still here with me just for one more day :(   I love you so much, I still can't believe your not here so I can tell you how my day went and you tell me how you pulled a fast one on the nurses or pulling up on Wednesday's and you and Nick on the front porch telling stories. They were great times, Thank You for all the memories and making me the person I am today. Your the best Dad! Tell everyone I said "Hello" and put in a good word for me.
