Juana A. Estevez

Born in San Pedro De Macoris, Dominican Republic, she was the daughter of the late Maria Sanchez and Alonso Rodriguez of Miami, FL.

Juana was an avid New York Mets fan, and loved the sport of baseball. She was a devoted Wife, Mother, and Grandmother and loved to cook for her family.

Preceding her in death in addition to her mother were three brothers, Rafael Rodriguez, Ernesto Sanchez, and Chi Chi Sanchez.

Surviving in addition to her father is her husband, Rafael Estevez of East Stroudsburg, Daughters, Sonia and her husband Parrish Hartman of East Stroudsburg, and Mary Ann and her husband Jephthe Michel of Phillipsburg, NJ. Grandchildren, Indigo, Heru, Frances, Daniel, David, and Jonathan. Brother, Ruben Sanchez of Passaic, NJ and Sister, Melania Torres of Newark, NJ.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday February 6, 2011 at 6:00 P.M. at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home Inc., 27 Washington East Stroudsburg, PA 18301 with Rev, Fayon Witche officiating. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00 P.M. until the time of service.
