Margaret C. (Costello) Davis, 84, of Piscataway, NJ, passed away peacefully at Regency Heritage, in Somerset, NJ.

She was born on January 17, 1927 in East Orange, NJ. She was the daughter to the late John and Margaret (McComas) Costello.

Margaret graduated nursing school and was a registered nurse. She was an active member and past President of the American Legion Auxiliary Evans-Blitz 922, Canadensis. Margaret was also an avid reader. She formerly lived in Iselin, NJ until 1978 when she moved to the Pocono area. Margaret will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

Margaret C. (Costello) Davis was predeceased by her loving parents and her husband Bruce Davis.

Surviving are her three sons, Bruce Davis and his wife Anne, of Scotch Plains, NJ, Glenn Davis and his wife Grace of Piscataway, NJ, Wayne Davis and his wife Mae, of Randolph, NJ; four grandchildren, Tobey Musses, Keith Davis, Kevin Davis, Lindsey Davis; four great grandchildren, Morgan and Madison Musses, Emma and Mila Davis; two sisters, Ethel Hart, and Kathleen Cheshire.

Family and Friends will gather on Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Lanterman & Allen Funeral Home, Inc., 27 Washington Street, East Stroudsburg, PA. An additional gathering will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. followed by a graveside service at Prospect Cemetery, in East Stroudsburg, PA, officiating will be Rev. Jeffrey Walsh.
