Andy was a graduate of Indianola High School in Indianola, OK. His passion was cooking and experimenting with all types of food and recipes. His favorite saying was, “Chefs don’t make mistakes, they make new recipes.” He could make a meal out of anything he found in the refrigerator, freezer, or cabinet and we rarely had the same meal twice.
When not cooking, Andy like doing “handy-man” jobs, everything from construction, painting, plumbing, designing projects, or any job requested of him. He had a soft spot for little old ladies and never had the heart to charge them much for his work, frequently donating materials and labor.
Andy was preceded in death by his father, Hugh Don Eiklor; grandparents, Herman and Lorene Zeller; and cousins: Ralph Zeller, Dallas Gordon, and Philip Madden. He is survived by his sons, Trevor and Jesse; mother, Eva Eiklor; sister, Kim LaValley and husband Casey of Ada, OK; brother, Travis Eiklor and wife Ka’ui of Noble, OK; nieces and nephews: Abigail LaValley, Manual LaValley, Clinton LaValley, Clayton LaValley, Courtney Waldron, Ariela Eiklor, Ryan Eiklor, and Judah Eiklor; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
Andy loved people and laughed often and easily. He will be greatly missed.
