In 1953, Betty married the love of her life, Manuel Mowdy. She loved starting a life and family with Manuel, and going to church was something they both enjoyed. Betty attended United Pentecostal Church’s in Oklahoma City and Edmond. She loved the Lord with all of her heart, and it was evident through her life. Betty had a very giving heart and caring spirit.
Her family was very important to her and she enjoyed spending time with them. Betty also loved going shopping with her daughters and loved laughing with her grandbabies. Betty’s love of family and friends will be forever in the memory of those she touched. Betty worked at Dillard’s and earned top sales awards. She was also a Tupperware sales representative, and was awarded a vehicle for being a top seller.
