

Charles “Charlie” Buddy Rogers, 77, of Minco Oklahoma, left this world to be with the lord, on Thursday February 10, 2011. Surrounded by family and friends the last days of his life he knew he was loved and was at peace. Born on April 5, 1933 to Olen and Mary Rogers Charlie grew up in Edmond. He attended Central Norm High School and Oklahoma City University. After enlisting in the U.S. Air Force in 1951. he honored his country by serving as a gunner during the Korean War on the B26 fighter plane. Later he worked and retired from the Oklahoma Air National Guard as an aircraft electrician. Charlie loved to socialize, spend time with family and was an avid animal lover. He was a wonderful father, exceptional grandpa and the loyalist of friends. As an intelligent, giving and compassionate person he was loved by countless people. A dedicated member of the Grey Eagles and patriotic veteran of our country. Charlie is survived by his loving life partner Ada, daughter Candice, sons Carson and Chuck. Grandchildren Angela, Rachel, Brittney, April, Heather, Jordan, Jonthan, Jacquelyn and Jordan. Great grandchildren Jacee, Brett, Brady, Abby, Dylin, Alice and Charlee. Preceded in death by his daughter Carole son Donnie, nephew Olen III, brother Olen,Jr., sisters Evelyn and Grace. The Baggerly Funeral Home will host a viewing on Monday February 14 from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Memorial Service on Tuesday February 15 at 2 p.m. Burial following at Gracelawn Cemetery, Edmond.
