

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; brother, Gerald Henderson; sisters, Marcella and Charmaine; and his first son, Virgil.
He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Iris Henderson; daughter, Pamela Gooch; son, Dr. Lenny Henderson; beloved grandsons: Ethan, Pearce, Phoenix, Brody and Stark; as well as Virgil's children, Patrick and Heidi, their children and grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Tyrone Henderson of Burlington, Iowa and Carole Henderson of Canton, Illinois.
Clifford built a successful life as a road driver and real estate investor in Edmond, Oklahoma.
He loved to walk daily at Hafer Park, manage his properties, spend time with friends and family, fish for crappie at Lake Eufaula, travel with his wife, including multiple cruises, trips to Europe and Central America and all over North America.
He was a devoted Catholic and very active member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and he was a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus.
He took the most pride in being married for 43 years to Iris and that Pamela and Lenny both received college educations.
He touched many people with his love for life and his generous spirit. He will be missed by all who knew him.
His funeral will be held at St. John's Catholic Church in Edmond on Friday, January 16 at 11 AM. Lunch will be served following the mass.
