Earnest Manton Harrell

Earnest loved spending time grilling with his family, watching wrestling, cheering on OU football, the New York Yankees, and the Texas State Bobcats. He had a good laugh watching shows like South Park, Seinfeld, Roseanne, and Parks and Rec, and he was known for his wit and sense of humor, always ready with a good joke or a playful prank. Earnest had a deep love for all types of music, letting his mood guide the shuffle of his playlist. Above all, he was a family man.

His family learned many valuable lessons from him, including a love for music, wrestling, amazing storytelling, and, of course, his incredible grilling skills. His fashion sense and ability to love and be loved also made a lasting impact on everyone around him.

Earnest will be remembered for his loving and laid-back personality, always entertaining and never getting involved in other people's business. He took pride in being a family guy, and one of his greatest accomplishments was helping raise two amazing children. He also won numerous wrestling titles, a testament to his dedication and passion for the sport.

Earnest is preceded in death by his parents Billy Wayne and Edna Louise Harrell, grandparents William Henson and Edna Merle Wilcox, and Edward Manton and Clifford Meneley Harrell, as well as his brother in-law Don Vick. He is survived by his loving wife Amanda, two children Kyrie O’Donley and Rickey O’Donley, four sisters Tammy Harrell Vick of Midwest City, OK, Tonya Harrell of Oklahoma City, OK, Rhonda Harrell Peterson (D.J. Peterson) of Oklahoma City, OK, and Crystal Harrell Eberle (Tim Eberle) of Moore, OK. He leaves behind his nieces, Maddie, Sydnee, Peyton, Ellen, Makenzie, and Jacey, along with his nephews, Drei, Kristian, Jordan, and Jackson, as well as two dogs Lola and Chuckles and his Cat, Kitty aka Fat Loaf.

Earnest leaves behind a legacy of laughter, love, and unforgettable moments. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A visitation for Earnest will be held Friday, February 14, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 South Broadway, Edmond, OK 73034. A memorial service will occur Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Baggerley Funeral Home.
