She is survived by her brother, Earl B. Snyder Jr. “E.B.” and wife Maureen of Lahoe City, California; her sister, Janice Stewart of Fulshear, Texas; nieces and nephews, Cathy Clanton, Cristin Ratto, Cameron Snyder, R. Michael Stewart and Joseph E. Stewart; sister-in-law, Maggie Lane; brother-in-law, Robert Lane and wife Dorothy as well as numerous great nieces and nephews. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Roy E. Lane. Eleanor earned her Master’s degree from Central State in Edmond, Oklahoma.
She was a dedicated and adored teacher and counselor in the Oklahoma City Public School System until her retirement in 1983. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 12, 2010 at the Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
