

Gerald Donald Lynch, age 69, of Edmond, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, April 12 at Mercy Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on January 4, 1947 in Safford, Arizona. Jerry was the youngest child of Paul and Ruby Lynch and the first to be born in a hospital. Jerry married Jennifer Lucretia Howard on March 13th, 1981. He is survived by wife Jennifer Lynch, children William, Matthew, and Lucretia Lynch, granddaughter Olivia Lynch, and siblings Peggy Keim, Emma Inbody, and Edward Lynch as well as many friends and loving relatives. He was preceded in death by his siblings Karen Bielss, and Clay Lynch. Jerry graduated from Collinsville High School in 1965. He attended Oklahoma Military Academy in Claremore and was a proud graduate of the University of Tulsa. After a long military career he retired at the rank of Sergeant Major in the Army Reserve. Jerry loved the outdoors and loved animals. He loved spending time with his granddaughter Olivia, fishing, and taking road trips to many national parks. Jerry’s viewing will be on Sunday, April 17th from 12:00 to 8:00 pm. His memorial service will be held at Baggerley Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, April 18th at 10:00 am. He will be laid to rest at Ft. Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK at 2 pm.
