Jane Ann Eldridge

Jane Ann (Calaway) Eldridge was born December 18, 1931 in Boynton, OK. She grew up in Edmond, OK, spent most of her adult life in Lindsay, OK and her last year in Oklahoma City living with daughter Connie and husband Alan. Son Randy and wife Maria were nearby. All of her grandchildren and great grandchildren live in Norman, OK, Oklahoma City area and Houston, TX also providing caregiver support.

She is survived by her brother Edward Calaway, daughter Connie Farrell (husband Alan), son Randy Eldridge (wife Maria), grandson Christopher Farrell (wife Wendi), granddaughter Keri Patrick (husband David), grandson Curtis Eldridge and five great grandchildren, Tristan Farrell (bride to be Sami Feronti), Nash Farrell, Kylie (Patrick) Reindl (husband Swade), Cooper Patrick and Colton Patrick.

Meemaw was the matriarch of her family. She was a faithful wife, loving mother and proud grandmother and great grandmother. She provided bountiful love and many words of advice for her family.

Jane was a great cook and known for her hot rolls. She passed along her family recipe to Connie and Keri. Randy and Christopher inherited her cooking skills.

Jane is a Christian and enjoyed her Lindsay Church of Christ family. She practiced her faith by serving others and fellowshipped with many in her extended family. She also provided Christian child care to a number of young Lindsay families who still keep in touch. Jane/Meemaw loved all and was loved by all who knew her.She is preceded in death by husband Bobby Gene Eldridge, parents Jesse and Ethel Calaway and brother Bobby Calaway. Jane enjoyed the fellowship of nieces, nephews and cousins at their annual family lake reunions.

She is already missed.

A visitation for Jane will be held Thursday, August 31, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 South Broadway, Edmond, OK 73034.

A graveside service will occur Friday, September 1, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Gracelawn Cemetery, 1407 N. Blvd, Edmond, OK.
