He was preceeded in death by his parents; sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Bob Thein; sister and brother-in-law, Hazel and Vernie Airington; grand-daughter, Angela Menasco; and beloved wife of 66 years, Idabell.
He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Vernon DeMoss of Oklahoma City; 4 loving daughters, Linda Jones, Beverly McDaniels, JoElla Bednar, and Cheryl Gilbert; 7 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Chicken Poppa, as he was lovingly known by his grandkids, was a sweet and powerful man with an infectious laugh. He made an everlasting impact on those who knew him and Heaven has gained another angel.
