

Judith, affectionately known as Grandma JuJu, was the daughter of Howard F. Vaughn and Dorothy C. Killian. A proud Putnam City Pirate, she pursued higher education at the University of Oklahoma, embodying the spirit of a lifelong Okie.
On June 1, 1984, Judith married Harvey L. Weathers, who preceded her in death on January 28, 2026. She passed away on the day of his memorial service, marking the end of their shared journey.
Judith was a lover of all music genres, with a special fondness for old country tunes. She cherished her time with dogs and enjoyed reading, often spending her perfect day by a fire, book in hand, surrounded by her beloved pets. Her grandchildren brought her immense joy and laughter.
After dedicating 27 years of service to Southwestern Bell, Judith retired and continued to give back to her community through volunteer work. She was actively involved with the Church of the Servant, where she was a cherished member of the choir.
Judith's legacy is one of self-sufficiency and honor, values she imparted to her friends and family. She was a faithful follower of Christ, a supportive wife, a hardworking mother, and a dedicated grandmother.
Judith is preceded in death by her husband Harvey L. Weathers, her parents Howard L. Vaughn and Dorothy C. Killian, and her half-brother Frank Vaughn.
Judith is survived by her son Patrick Overand and wife Emily of Guthrie, OK, her stepchildren Bryan Weathers and wife Janna of Edmond, OK and Misty Gilles and husband Darren of Champaign, IL. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren Sean R. Sweitzer of Madison, CT, Kaylee Dawn Overand of Norman, OK, Shelby Dawn Overand of Oklahoma City, OK, Luke Weathers of Edmond, OK, Barrett Weathers, Jackson Gilles, and Jake Gilles of Camargo, IL.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Church of the Servant, located at 14343 N MacArthur Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK, 73142, United States. The service is scheduled for February 17, 2026, starting at 2:00 PM.
