On the wings of angels, Leo Martin Simon, a simple and quiet man of such dignity and grace has gone to be with his Lord. He was born in Foss, OK to a wheat farmer and his wife. He grew to love the land and wherever his life took him. He always planted something, be it his beloved roses or wheat. He loved watching things grow by his own hands. Those same hands raised three children alone, once again with quiet dignity and grace and thru many life tragedies as always mindful that with god all things are possible.
Toward the end of his life, he found love and married Betty Vanderpool Simon. There 27 years together were some of the best days of his life. This was however cut short with the tragic death of his beloved Betty, but once again he endured with quiet grace and dignity.
He now has left us all to finally have the joy and peace he deserves. Although we here grieve his passing we are comforted knowing he is with our Lord and his love, Betty. They are once again together. He leaves his three children, Denese Harlow, Michael Simon, wife Sharon, and Regina Simon. He was blessed by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
With the passing of our beloved father, a light has gone out for us.
