Marvin D. Thomas, age 76 of OKC, passed away Oct 25, 2012 with his loving family by his side. He was born Apr 10, 1936 in Summers, Ark to Rollie and Verna (Smyth) Thomas. Marvin married his wife Beverly in Sep of 1960. He was the owner of Marvin’s Texaco Station in the Village and later Marvin’s Janitorial Service. He loved singing gospel music with his family quartet. He was song leader at Bell Garden Missionary Baptist Church in CA and worked with teenagers in church at Bethel Baptist. Marvin is survived by his wife Beverly Thomas; Son, Terry Thomas and his wife Rhonda; daughter, Pamela Lehman; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; seven brothers and one sister as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; mother and father-in-law, Vic and Eileen Goodrich; daughter, Vicki Thomas; granddaughter, Rebecca Thomas and son-in-law, Gene Lehman. Services to honor Marvin will be 2:00 p.m., Tues, Oct 30, 2012 at Village Baptist Church with interment to follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
