Muriel Adell Jenson Fair, 84, of Oklahoma City went to be with the Lord and her husband of 58 years on September 3, 2014. Throughout her life, she was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.
Muriel was born on February 8, 1930, to Henry and Irene Jenson in Lanesboro, MN, and grew up in the Lanesboro area. She attended the Winona Beauty Academy and was a beautician in Lanesboro before marrying Robert “Bob” A. Fair on December 26, 1951. She and her family moved to Oklahoma City in 1969 where they raised their five children. Across the miles she remained close to her Minnesota family that she loved dearly.
Muriel was a long-time member of the Epiphany of the Lord Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling with her late husband, quilting and sewing, reminiscing about growing up on the farm in Minnesota and taking care of her family. She was the family’s “go to” authority on cooking and housecleaning tips before Google.
She is survived by her five children and their spouses, Bill and Jeni Fair of Bethany, OK; Tom and Jan Fair; Becky and Stewart Eagle; Mike and Sherry Fair, and Rick and Diane Fair, all of Oklahoma City and 13 grandchildren that include Ryan Fair, Lauren Cooke, Rebeka Fair, Jamie Marriott, Michael Thies, Jeremy Cole, Scott Eagle, Chris Eagle, Stephanie Eagle, Maggie Fair, Amy Fair, Melissa Fair and Ashley Fair as well as 12 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents and sister.
