She was a most beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Her house always felt like home; a safe place to go for comforting advice, that was also sure to make you laugh, and a comforting meal. After all, no one made better chicken and noodles than Patsy Miles.
Throughout her life, Patsy demonstrated remarkable versatility and skill. She worked as a beautician, seamstress, and realtor, and embraced the role of a "jack of all trades," excelling in various endeavors with creativity and determination. She sewed, crafted, quilted, arranged flowers, embroidered, crocheted, painted, cooked and passed on a love and talent for all handicrafts.
Always a wealth of funny songs and stories, Patsy told tales that kept you listening. With a great sense of humor, she loved to laugh, and was always the life of the party. Her antidotes are a treasure trove that will be greatly missed.
Patsy gave in life as she gave in death. She was a consistent donor to Boys Town and St Jude. Her final act of kindness was to give through organ and tissue donation, leaving a lasting legacy by giving the gift of life to others.
Patsy will be remembered for her resilience and the love she shared with those around her. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew her.
She did not care for fresh cut flowers. Instead of flowers please plant a tree. She loved Magnolias.
Patsy Miles will be interred on Friday January 10th at Gracelawn Cemetery, without service, Celebration of Life to follow.
