Ted Joseph Miller

Ted Joseph Miller went to be with the Lord on Jan. 29, 2026. He was born in 1962 in Madrid, Spain. He was preceded in death by his loving mother Jean E Miller, and grandparents Odes and Cordia Guthrey; and Ray and Rosetta Miller. Ted loved the Lord and showed immeasurable strength throughout his five-year battle with stage 4 lung cancer. During his struggle with cancer he found peace in the Lord and called upon him for power. He was the definition of a passionate and loving man. Ted treated everyone he met with respect and kindness. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren and family and was there to support and cheer them on at every game and life event.

Ted is survived by his wife Dana; his daughter Mallorie & Robbie Moore and grandsons Hudson, Gabe, and Archie; daughter Maddie & Bryce Berning and granddaughter Marlee; and daughter Faythe; and his four-legged best friend, Bogey, and father JD & wife Carol Miller, and sisters Maria Lourdes Benitez Casado and Maria Josefa Casado Ramírez.

Ted loved to spend time outdoors whether it was hanging out poolside, playing a game of golf, walking his dog, or watching the Sooners. Our family enjoyed numerous trips for OU vs Texas. These trips are where his girls got what their significant others now call “caviar taste” for dining. He loved to spoil his grandchildren and children with surprises and treats.

In his own words he lived a life where he never missed an opportunity for an adventure. Ted felt life was too short to not be happy and enjoy it.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 9, 2026 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM with family greeting friends and family from 6:30 - 7:30.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Baggerley Funeral Home, 930 S. Broadway Edmond, Oklahoma. Interment will follow to Gracelawn Cemetery, Edmond, Oklahoma.
