

Willa Dean “Deanie” Padgett Wilde was born November 19, 1931 in West Texas to Ray Floyd and Lillie (Cotton) Padgett . Deanie was raised in Purcell, OK and was a proud, loyal graduate of Purcell High School in 1949. After High School she attended Draughons School of Business and went to work in the bookkeeping department at McKesson, Robbins. In June of 1956 she married James C. Wilde and moved to Los Angles where she managed a credit union. Deanie and Jim relocated to Dallas in 1962. She remained there until Jim's death in 1970 then moved back to Oklahoma City. Deanie loved sports; she was passionate about OU football and the OKC Thunder. Deanie was preceded in death by her husband Jim Wilde; mother, Lillie McKinney; step father, Emmett McKinney; sister, Peggy Hamilton; twin brothers, Don and Ron Padgett. She is survived by sister, Linda Tansel; brother, Joe L. (Smokey) McKinney; niece, Deana Tansel Huff, her husband Darren, and children, Riley and Denton; nephew, Tyler Tansel, his daughter Sophie; niece, Heather Reichert, her husband Matt and their children Madeline and Hunter. Additional survivors Vickie Padgett Seftar, Donnell Padgett, Damon Padgett, Dianna Padgett Coffee and their families. Thank you to the staff of Tealridge Assisted Living Center for your loving care and to Quality Hospice for making her last days comfortable. Thank you also to the members of the PHS class of '49 for your friendship, support and concern for Deanie throughout the years. Services will be 2:00pm, Wednesday, May 23 at Resthaven Cemetery Chapel in OKC
