William Huffman

Bill Huffman was born May 2, 1958 in Enid, Oklahoma to Dale Dwight Huffman and Delores Anderson Huffman. He passed from this Earth on July 24, 2010. Bill was predeceased by his grandparents, Elmer and Sybil Huffman and Bill and Ethel Anderson; his step-grandparents, Don Slaughter and Marjorie Slaughter; his father, Dale Dwight Huffman; and his mother, Delores Anderson Huffman. After the death of his mother, when Bill was a young child, his father married again, and Bill was adopted by his second mother, Mary Pollard Huffman. Bill was extraordinarily gifted musically, artistically, and athletically. He enjoyed his music every day of his life and dabbled in art throughout his life. He graduated from Medford Public Schools in 1976. Later, he received an Associates diploma in Surgical Technology. Bill was employed as a truck driver, and more recently as a dispatcher, until his health prevented him from working. He was very proud of his rig and truly enjoyed driving a big truck. His greatest joy was his loyal and faithful friends who will miss him greatly. Bill is survived by his mother, Mary Huffman; his brothers, Eric Huffman, John Pollard, and Bob Pollard; his sisters, Debby Huffman Kane, Heidi Huffman Brewer, and Lisa Pollard Truesdell; and eleven nephews, three nieces, and many special friends, including Brian Guiddy, Bunk Pergl, Stephen Lawrence, Cleo Martin, and Christian Lowden. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm, Friday, July 30 at Baggerley Funeral Home in Edmond.
